Two to three weeks is comfortable for most ceremonies, because it leaves time to fix the muhurta and arrange the samagri. For gruhapravesha and marriage during the wedding season, book as early as you can. Urgent requests are still worth a call — we will tell you honestly whether the date works.
We bring the ritual essentials — the kalasha set, the homa kunda where needed, and the priest's own items. Flowers, fruits, coconuts, betel leaves, ghee and cloth are usually arranged by the family, and you receive a written list well in advance. If you would rather we arrange everything, tell us and we will quote for it.
We are based at Govindraj Nagar, Vijayanagar and travel across Bengaluru. Ceremonies outside the city limits are possible with travel arranged in advance.
It depends on the ceremony, its duration, the number of priests required and the travel involved. We give you a clear figure when you book — there is no revision on the day.
The mantras are recited in Sanskrit as they must be, but the sankalpa and every step are explained in Kannada or English so the family understands what is happening and why.
