1. About these terms

These terms apply to every booking made with Shree Vasistha Divine ("we", "us"), operating from No. 32, Near UCO Bank, Magadi Main Road, Govindraj Nagar, Vijayanagar, Bengaluru - 560040. By requesting a ceremony through this website, by phone or by WhatsApp, you agree to them.

2. Bookings and confirmation

A request submitted through the website is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only after we have spoken with you, checked the panchanga for an auspicious muhurta, and agreed the date, venue, arrangements and dakshina.

3. Muhurta and timings

The muhurta is determined according to the panchanga and cannot be moved to suit convenience. Where the auspicious window falls at an early or unusual hour, this is communicated at the time of booking. We arrive ahead of the stated time; delays caused at the venue may shorten the ritual, and we will tell you at once if that risks the muhurta.

4. Materials (samagri)

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, we bring the priest's own ritual items — including the kalasha set and, where applicable, the homa kunda. Flowers, fruits, coconuts, betel leaves, ghee, cloth and other consumables are arranged by the host, from the written list we send in advance. If you ask us to arrange the full samagri, it is quoted separately.

5. Dakshina and payment

The dakshina is agreed at the time of booking and depends on the ceremony, its duration, the number of priests required and the travel involved. The agreed figure is not revised on the day. Payment is due on completion of the ceremony unless another arrangement is agreed in advance.

6. Rescheduling and cancellation

There is no charge for rescheduling, provided you tell us as early as possible; we will re-check the panchanga for the next suitable muhurta. Where materials have already been purchased on your behalf, or travel has been booked, those costs are payable. Cancellation on the day of the ceremony may attract a charge covering the time reserved.

7. At the venue

The host is responsible for providing a clean, safe space for the ritual, along with water, ventilation and — for a homa — a location where a sacred fire may be lit safely. We may decline to light a fire where the space is unsafe, and will suggest an alternative.

8. Photography

Photographs are taken only with the family's consent and published only where that consent has been given. You may ask at any time for an image to be removed from this website; it will be taken down the same day.

9. Astrology and vaastu consultations

Guidance offered in an astrology or vaastu consultation is traditional in nature and is provided for your consideration. It does not replace professional medical, legal, financial or structural advice, and decisions taken on the basis of a consultation remain your own.

10. Limitation of liability

Our responsibility is limited to performing the ceremony as agreed. We are not liable for outcomes attributed to a ritual, nor for losses arising from circumstances outside our control, including weather, civic restrictions and venue failures.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies.
