About this ceremony

A parihara is only useful if it addresses the right affliction. We start from the chart, identify what is actually afflicted, and prescribe the remedy traditionally indicated — which may be a japa, a specific pooja, a homa, or a combination performed on a particular muhurta. Where the remedy is a ceremony, we perform it for you.

Why it is performed

  • The remedy follows the chart, not a standard list
  • Performed on the muhurta the remedy requires
  • The ceremony itself can be booked with the same purohit

What the ceremony includes

  • Identification of the dosha from the chart
  • The prescribed japa, pooja or homa
  • Muhurta selection for the remedy
  • Guidance on any observances to follow afterwards

What to prepare

  • Birth details, and any earlier reading you have received
  • Where a homa is prescribed, a ventilated space at the venue

The full samagri list is sent in writing once the date is confirmed.

Questions about Dosha Parihara

Traditionally the observance matters as much as the ceremony. We tell you what to continue afterwards and for how long, and we do not promise timelines the tradition does not.
